Meet Dawania Quiett

Dawania retired from a 33-year career in engineering in 2017. She spent 20 years with Abbott Laboratories. Her last role was that of Director of Manufacturing Operations in Redwood City where for 10 years she was responsible for manufacturing engineering, supply chain, production, project engineering, and facilities. Prior to that she held various roles in research and development, design, project management and supplier quality for Texas Instruments, E-Systems, and Dell Computer.

When she retired, Dawania purchased a Real Property Management (RPM) franchise with Alameda County as her territory. What impressed her about the RPM system was online reporting, comprehensive marketing and advertising, thorough tenant screening and selection, fullservice leasing, routine property evaluations, costeffective reliable maintenance, and timely rent collection. In fact, she used another franchise to manage several of her rental properties and experienced the RPM difference.

Dawania manages residential properties in Castro Valley, Hayward, Newark, Fremont, San Leandro, Union City and Oakland. Her offering of services expanded to include both residential and commercial properties as well as portfolio consolidation consulting. Her operations engineering background was a perfect fit for property management. She has operated the business since June 2018 and is having the time of her life providing the superior services that she also receives.

A 1984 graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, La with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Dawania is a Competent Toastmaster, a member of the Bay East Real Estate Association, California Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Rental Housing Association, volunteer with the Eden Area Regional Occupation Program (ROP) Engineering Advisory Committee and a member of South Bay Community Church in Fremont where she is a small group Bible Study leader.
